Yesterday we performed  kaupahaka at the Palms Mall. They sang Matariki,E te tau, te tiro mai, nga iwa and the boys did the haka. My favorite part was Matariki

This term we have been making pukapuka pikitia ( picture books) for the preschool children. I made one about feelings. I chose to use emojis to show the feelings because the children would understand the emojis easier than just words.

 In literacy we have been making “How To’’ posters.

I chose how to make a cup of tea. We have been learning about imperative verbs,adverbs and time connectives. In my poster the imperative words I used were pour, put, stir, squeeze, boil and add. The time connective I used was while.
